The story of Claddagh is based in rich Irish culture. It begins about five centuries ago in the fishing village of Claddagh, just outside the city of Galway. The heart symbolizes true love, the crown undying loyalty, and the hands the friendship. Endless knot: symbolize the eternity or continuum. This is also one of the most favorite symbol of Tibetan Buddhism, because the knot represents a connection, a link with our fates, binding us to our karmic destiny. Celtic cross: one interpretation says the circle ast the eternal and endless love of God's love shown to humanity throught Christ's sacrifice on the cross. It is also recognized as a halo.
