Mandalas: comes from the Sanskrit word mandala. The mandalas symbolize the wholeness and can be seen as a model of life itself - that reminds us of our relation to the infinite. Mostly related to Buddhist culture of Tibet and India, where it has been used for thousands of years for meditation techniques, exercises.
In the mandalas the circle symbolizes the spirit, the square of the material world, and the colors are emotions associated with these forms.
Meaning of colors: White compassion, peace. Black: secret, divination. Grey: meekness, love, loyalty. Yellow: friendship, nature, intelligence. Blue: satisfaction, harmony. Red: power, change, love. Purple: idealism, wisdom. Pink: sensitivity, healing. Orange: vitality, divination. Green: trust, healing, relationship, peace. Brown: earth, stability.
